meet nan tepper

i’m nan tepper and yes, i designed this app because i’m a worrier. i’m a person who cares about things; people, animals, climate change, political corruption. there are things i can try to make better. and there are things that are beyond my control.

the app? i can do that!

i’m sure you noticed something about me, or at least, my aesthetic. i love bright candy colors and bold fonts. i’m pretty playful. i love my pups, maisy and hugo.

i want you to meet me because we live in a world where it’s getting harder to meet the people who are behind the work. customer service has always been a central value for me. i believe in hospitality and generosity. i miss the old days when i could get a human being on the phone instead of a bot. i need my face and name to accompany my work as a way to bring personal connection to what i do. i think it’s very important to do that with this new adventure i’m creating.

i write memoir, essays, and stories that i tell on stage. i’ve made my living as a graphic and website designer for the past 15 years. before that? a little bit of this, a little bit of that. but all the little things have always included helping others. i live in a sweet brick ranch that’s my home sweet home. it’s in the mid-hudson valley of new york state. i believe life can be magical and full of joy. let’s make each other smile. let’s be present for the people we love.
